I was really touched by something that happened today. My friend Sara, who also ran Disney, texted to tell me that her 15 year old daughter is participating in “Coaches vs. Cancer” basketball tournament on January 24. They are wearing special t-shirts and were asked if they wanted to put anyone’s name on the back to honor someone. Her daughter chose me. I have never met her daughter. I am truly honored. So many good things have come out of my diagnosis. The way everyone has supported me is very touching, but to have a teenage girl whom I’ve never met honor me is very meaningful.
